Students at James McQueen Public School supported Pink Shirt Day

Think Pink – Students at James McQueen Public School in Fergus got on board celebrating Pink Shirt Day on Feb. 26. The day has been noted within the Upper Grand District School Board since 2007, when a male student wore a pink shirt to school and was bullied for it. Last week staff and students at James McQueen school supported the anti-bullying message by wearing pink shirts with sayings like Kindness is the New Cool; Good Vibes Only; Just be Kind; and Kindness: One Size Fits All.
