The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) has honoured Fergus’ Station Earth for excellence in the design and installation of electronic systems.
CEDIA’s Electronic Lifestyles Designer Awards are considered the most prestigious awards program for the residential electronic systems industry.
Work is submitted in the following categories: home theatres, integrated homes, media rooms, hidden installations and more. Submissions range from $40,000 single-room projects to whole-house integration systems that carry price tags topping $3 million.
Station Earth won gold in the category “Best Hidden Installation”, silver in the category “Best Integrated Home System $450,001 and over”, and Electronic House Magazine’s “Best Hidden Install of the Year”.
Winners were evaluated based on both the technical merits and design/aesthetics.
The winning project is published in the Electronic Lifestyles Designer Awards Book with images and explanations of the project’s challenges and products used.
