Spring Valley RV Resort campers hosted their third annual Mini Putt Tournament.
The July 29 tournament is part of a fundraiser for the Louise Marshall Hospital.
Over the last 15 years Spring Valley campers have raised over $90,000 and planned to reach $100,000 this year.
Kevin Granger stated this is the third annual mini putt.
The event ran throughout the day, with the final group being adult players.
“We’re so close to raising $100,000 (total) – so we are really trying to push to get there.”
Granger noted the event was divided into different age groups.
“We’ve had about 100 participants. It’s a lot of fun.”
Granger later provided an update.
“After all the money is collected the total will be $400 but with the other activities, such as golf tournament, euchre tournament, horseshoe tournament we will raise over $9,000.”
