ELORA – A ‘spooktacular’ Halloween event at the Grand River Raceway will raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington.
On Oct. 28, the stables will be decked out with scary decorations.
A family friendly portion of the event goes from 4 to 6pm, appropriate for all ages. From 6:30 to 8pm, organizers will turn down the lights and “turn up the scare meter for the ones who dare,” officials say.
Tickets are $5 per person (ages three and up) or $20 for a family of up to six people, and can be purchased online or at the door.
All proceeds from ticket sales support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington.
Food will be available for purchase, and there will be crafts and family activities.
The event is sponsored by Shields Law, Meridian Credit Union, July Ponds and Landscaping, Mike Rundle Trucking, Hybrid Detox Hair and Spa, Wightman, and Refreshed and Refined Interiors.
