Elementary and secondary students from the Upper Grand District School Board and the Wellington Catholic District School Board descended on St. James Catholic High School in Guelph for the 18th annual Special Olympics Track and Field Day on May 15. The meet was originally scheduled for May 13 but due to rain it was rescheduled. Athletes, peer coaches, teachers and spectators were treated to a beautiful day to compete in the event with the slogan “Track and field of dreams”.
