Want to find out more about the birds, insects, and animals found along the Speed River? Check this year’s museum camp where kids can explore Cool Critters Along the Speed.
Running from July 21 to 25, 9:15 to 11:45am, the camp’s daily themes include: River Rambles (Monday), For the Birds (Tuesday), Beaver Tales (Wednesday), Bug Out (Thursday), and Down on the Farm (Friday). Children ages 6 to 10 will have fun hiking, bug hunting, getting close to birds, making ice cream, racing paper boats, and more.
Cost of the program is $17per child per morning, or $75 for the full week (Guelph Museums Members $14 or $60 per week). Advanced registration is required and spaces are limited. McCrae House is located at 108 Water Street. Contact Guelph Museums at 836-1221 to register.
