ERIN – The province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is looking into an incident here on the weekend.
On Nov. 18 at about 7:20pm, Wellington County OPP officers responded to a single vehicle rollover on Wellington Road 22 near the 5th Line in Erin.
Police say the male driver, who was “located a short distance away,” was examined by paramedics and then turned back to police custody.
The man later complained about an injury and was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
OPP officials notified the SIU, which is now investigating the incident.
