On Aug. 20, at approximately 7:40pm, Wellington County OPP attended a residence in Fergus.
Police say that upon the arrival of officers a male exited the apartment from a window and fell to a cement pad below, resulting in injuries to himself.
The male was transported by Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The OPP has notified the province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU). SUI is called in to investigations involving police.
As a result, police say they will not be able to provide any further information.
