GUELPH – Guelph’s Shout Sister! choir is making a “joyful noise” for Community of Hearts.
Beth Becker directs as the choir continues Shout Sister’s tradition of giving back to the community.
“We dedicate our annual fundraiser to helping our communities,” officials state.
“We are also found throughout the year performing at other fundraisers and at senior’s homes.
“Our performances are joyful occasions and our audiences respond with delight to our enthusiasm and energy.”
The show will take place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Guelph on June 4 at 7:30pm.
There are 25 Chapters of Shout Sister! Choir and each takes an unorthodox approach to choral singing.
“We do not audition and we sing a fun variety of music from pop and Motown, to folk, to a touch of country and blues,” officials say. “We learn from recorded tracks so we require no reading of music.
“Our method is fresh and fun and we are a warm and welcoming community.”
