CENTRE WELLINGTON – The Shareable Moment Challenge is now live in Centre Wellington.
The township, Elora and Fergus Tourism and Regional Tourism Organization 4 Inc. (RTO4) are asking local Business Improvement Areas (BIA), festivals, events, arts and culture organizations to flex their creative potential and design shareworthy moments that embrace their unique destination’s DNA.
RTO4 will invest a total of $30,000 in selected projects.
Applications will be accepted in two streams: one for destinations (including destination marketing organizations, BIAs, and chamber of commerce) and one for individual tourism-facing businesses, events and tour operators.
At least one winner will be selected for each stream.
Destinations can apply for up to $15,000, while individual businesses can apply for up to $5,000.
“We are looking for ideas that will capture the essence of what makes Centre Wellington truly unique,” stated Deb Dalziel, tourism and destination coordinator for Centre Wellington Township.
Applications due Jan. 15
Applications are due Jan. 15. RTO4 plans to announce the winning ideas in February and expects the projects to be rolled out as early as the spring.
