There were several break-ins across the county last weekend.
On July 21 at about 3pm someone broke in (through a garage door and then an interior door) to a residence on Wellington Road 86 near Ariss. Police, who estimate that about $3,000 in jewelry and cash was stolen, are looking for a silver SUV they say was involved in the theft.
On July 21 police were called to a second break-in on Wellington Road 86 near Ariss. Police say someone accessed the home through a rear patio door and rummaged through the home, but nothing was stolen.
Sometime in July someone forced open the rear door of a residence on Wellington Road 29 near Barrie Hill and stole a lap top, a jigsaw, a table saw and crystal.
On July 23, sometime after midnight, someone entered the garage of a residence on Nassagaweya-Puslinch Townline, near Arkell and stole four ATV tires, an extension cord and a hunting knife.
