A Georgetown man has been charged in connection with a serious crash here last weekend that sent three people to hospital.
On May 19 at about 5:10pm, emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision at Sideroad 15 and 2nd Line in former West Garafraxa.
Police say a pickup truck was southbound on 2nd Line and a van was eastbound on Sideroad 15 when the collision occurred.
The male driver of the van was transported by air ambulance to Hamilton with serious injuries and was later listed in stable condition.
A female passenger and three-year-old child in the van were transported by Guelph-Wellington EMS to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the pick-up truck, Nicholas McKay, 22, of Georgetown, was not injured.He was later charged with disobeying a stop sign.
