DRAYTON – The Seniors’ Centre for Excellence is hosting a health and wellness fair on Oct. 20, from 10am to 2:30pm at the PMD Arena (68 Main Street West in Drayton).
Attendees will hear about current health information from a variety of health care professionals.

A mini-market featuring local crafts and goods for sale will also be a part of the event.
Seniors’ Centre for Excellence program coordinator Helen Edwards says the idea behind the fair to is to provide older adults with health and wellness information.
“We believe that older adults who are active, connected and engaged in their community, enjoy better overall health,” said Edwards.
“We have a wide variety of exhibitors, vendors, and workshops. We also guarantee some surprises; it is our goal to have our guests enjoy their time at the event.”
Edwards added, “All information is geared towards older adults, so whether you are an older adult yourself, or a caregiver you are welcome to attend.”
There is no charge to attend the event and organizers will be serving complimentary coffee and tea with muffins from 10 to 11am and a complimentary lunch catered by Family Time Pizza, including chili or soup and garlic bread with cheese while supplies last.
