A Mount Forest senior has been charged in connection with a break-in here earlier this week.
On Feb. 18 at about 10:30am, Wellington County OPP responded to a break-in at Road 1 North, east of Harriston.
Police say a homeowner “interrupted a burglar in their kitchen.” The suspect, who had entered through an unlocked door, fled when discovered, but was shortly thereafter located and arrested by police.
Dianne Myrtle Donald, 75, of Mount Forest, was charged with break and enter, theft under $5,000 and two counts of failing to comply with probation orders. She was held for bail.
