OTTAWA – Seven Wellington County residents have been nominated for King Charles III Coronation Medals.
On Sept. 13, Ontario Senator Rob Black announced his 20 nominations for the honour, which commemorates the coronation of Charles III.
To be eligible, candidates must have made a significant contribution to Canada or to a particular province, territory, region or community of Canada, or must have made an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to Canada.
The following are the local nominees on Black’s list, along with the category of nomination:
