Rockin’ – Staff at Centre Wellington District High School were rocking the crock pot on Oct. 7 as a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society. Staff participated in a crockpot cookoff and staff and students dressed as their favourite rock stars. There was also a “Rock and Roll Name that Tune” competition and students did a scavenger hunt around the school. Several local businesses donated prizes. The event raised more than $1,000.
