When fair time comes in Arthur, the roads will close – temporarily.
Councillors here recently passed bylaws for the temporary closing portions of Conestoga, Smith,. George, Charles, Isabella and Tucker Streets in Arthur to make way for the annual Arthur Fall Fair parade.
Council reviewed a letter from fair secretary Lisa Stroszka regarding the Sept. 10 parade, which starts at the Arthur Public School at 7pm.
Council had no issue with the temporary street closing between 6:30pm and 8pm on Sept. 10.
