It could be a bumpy road ahead for north/south travellers on county roads in Centre Wellington.
On March 27 Ward 6 county councillor Shawn Watters spoke of items of interest to Centre Wellington residents, including local road and bridge construction.
Watters said residents will be seeing work begin on Wellington Road 7 from Salem to Alma.
Additional work will continue on the replacement of the county bridge in Salem between 2017 and 2018.
He said money is being allocated for the Badley Bridge (downtown Elora) with the work to begin in 2019.
Councillor Fred Morris asked if bridge tenders come in under estimates … whether any savings could be directed to bridge enhancements.
Watters said he would relay the request.
