Wellington OPP officers Josh Cunningham (left) and Brad Griffin reminded people of precautions needed to protect all-terrain vehicle (ATV) riders and prevent accidents and rollovers. An approved motorcycle helmet is a must, and other protective gear is recommended. Proper training is needed, plus proper supervision of young riders and regular maintenance and inspection of the vehicle. No one should operate an ATV when impaired by alcohol or a drug.
