After a successful Songwriters’ Challenge held at the Norgan Theatre in November of 2014, and an inventive CD Cover Contest completed this spring, the Minto Cultural Roundtable will be hosting a CD Release Party.
The evening celebration will feature live musical performances by all of the Songwriters’ Challenge finalists, along with the announcement of the winner of the CD Cover Contest.
Finalists in the challenge included: Trina Larter (Conn), Alexandria McRae (Listowel), Nicholas Mercuri (Fergus), Kyra Ash (Palmerston), Juanita Wilkins (Clifford), Doris Laird (Mount Forest), Samantha Glasier (Hanover) and Peter Schofield (Moorefield).
The CD release party will take place at 7pm on May 28 at Harry Stones in Harriston. This is a free public event and the community is encouraged to come out and support local artistic and musical talent.
