On April 23 at 8pm Jason Wilson and the Perennials will bring the sound of their brand new reggae-based album Perennials to the Eden Mills Community Hall.
It is the first volume of a three-volume set entitled The Valley Road Trilogy.
Wilson said Perennials “draws from the deep wells of the reggae canon, the Scottish and English Folk Revival and NYC bebop.”
Wilson combines reggae with the improvisational sensibility of jazz and then layers it with the storytelling quality of the Scottish folk tradition.
Net proceeds will support the Eden Mills Community Hall.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students and can be purchased at the door or at www.edenmills/music.
