The end of Summer Reading Club is in sight, but it’s not too late to sign up! The last day to submit your ballots for amazing prizes is Saturday, Aug. 19.
All 14 branches have three prizes available, for a variety of ages, including teens and adults. One book read = one ballot entered.
What kind of prizes are available?
1. 2023 Ontario Parks Pass and a tree from the Green Legacy program
2. LEGO set
3. Children’s prize basket

Your Dragon (Grades 1-3)
Join us for a dragon-themed Story Time and use pipe cleaners to create and tame your very own dragon!

Epic Adventures: Escape Rooms
at the Library (Ages 8-16)
This three-day program has you working in teams to create your very own escape room! This includes creating props, puzzles, and an intriguing back story. On the third day, your hard work will be put to the test and another team will attempt to solve your escape room.

Family Story Time: Pie in the Face!

Bring your stuffed animal to the library for a sleepover adventure! What will those cute and cuddly creatures get up to overnight in the library? We’ll spend the morning doing crafts and stories, before saying “goodnight” to the stuffies. Stuffed animals will be ready for pickup the following day, with photo journals of their adventures to come after.

Full STEAM Ahead: Ewww…that Science is Gross (Ages 4-12)
Discover the science behind things that make you go…ewww! Make “snot” and sneeze it while exploring viscosity, identify various animals from their scat (i.e. poop) and learn about digestion while producing a burp in a bag.
