The Centre Wellington Community Foundation (CWCF) has taken a lead role in initiating Random Act of Kindness Day in Centre Wellington.
This year, the event will be recognized on Nov. 3.
The message is simple: do something nice for someone and ask nothing in return other than they do something nice for someone else.
“Every day is a great day to show acts of kindness to others, but it’s important to have a day where we shine a light on the kindness we see all the time here in Centre Wellington,” said CWCF executive director Raymond Soucy.
The CWCF is encouraging businesses, schools, organizations and individuals to get involved by promoting the day within their own offices, classrooms, boardrooms, and networks. Contact CWCF to register and receive a free Kindness Kit.
The Centre Wellington Community Foundation invites everyone to share their kind deeds on Facebook or Twitter using the hashtag #RAKday. One can follow Random Act of Kindness Day Centre Wellington on Twitter at #RAKDayCW and on Facebook at facebook.com/CWCFdn.
