PUSLINCH – Police have charged a Puslinch Township resident with assault and sexual assault in connection with several incidents this year.
Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a sexual assault at a residence in Puslinch on Dec. 20 at about 6:30pm.
“Investigation revealed that the victim was sexually assaulted on several occasions between June and December 2020,” police stated in a press release on Dec. 23.
“The accused and victim were known to each other.”
A 27-year-old Puslinch resident was charged with four counts of sexual assault and one count of assault and is to appear in Guelph court on Jan. 29.
Police are reminding victims of sexual assault that they are not alone.
