Puslinch Township recently completed a Recreation and Parks Master Plan that recommended the preparation of a concept plan the Puslinch Community Centre Park, including the newly acquired land at the rear of this site.
Options include new soccer fields, trails, splash pad, and pavilion.
The concepts will also consider adjustments to the current park, such as the relocation of the playground and/or the re-purposing of the ball diamond to other uses.
Residents are invited to help the township create a long-term vision for this important community park.
An open house is set for Nov. 26, at the Optimist Recreation Centre to review the proposed concept plans. Residents are invited to drop in anytime between 7 and 9pm.
For those unable to attend, comments may be submitted to the township no later than Dec. 18. For more information or to submit written comments about the Puslinch Community Centre Park Concept, contact Don Creed, Director of Public Works and Parks at 519-763-1226 ext. 218 or dcreed@puslinch.ca.
