Right around the corner is the annual Learn to Run and Walk clinic that leads up to Erin’s Shamrock Shuffle.
In the eight week clinic, instructor Jamie Hocken will take people through an introduction to walking or running a 5 or 10km race. The clinic is suitable for all skill levels. It will take place at Erin District High School on Tuesdays, at 6:30pm starting March 23. The cost is $35.

The event continues to grow each year with people gaining awareness of the importance of healthy, active living. The seventh annual Shamrock Shuffle will take place on May 16 in Erin. People can choose to run 5 or 10km or walk those distances. There are prizes for winners as well as random draws.
A race kit and t-shirt are provided to all participants who register before May 1. A pancake breakfast is served to all runners and walkers after the race. More information is available on EWCS’ website.
