PUSLINCH – Police are still looking for a driver who took off on foot following a crash on Highway 401 here on Wednesday.
Wellington County OPP officials say police responded to a collision in a westbound lane of the 401 near Highway 6 North, south of Aberfoyle, on Dec. 22 at about 11:30am.
“A witness observed the operator of the vehicle fleeing from the scene into the adjacent woods,” police stated in a Dec. 23 press release.
“OPP canine and Emergency Response Team … members attended and attempted to locate the unknown driver, who remains outstanding.”
