GUELPH-ERAMOSA – Police are asking for clues to help them solve a four-year-old murder case.
On the evening of Aug. 4, 2020, a passerby found the body of Mohamed Amin Ismail, 25, of Ottawa, on Watson Road just south of Wellington Road 124, east of Guelph.
An autopsy a couple of days later confirmed the man was murdered.
“Investigators believe that individuals in the areas of Wellington County, Kitchener-Waterloo and Ottawa may have information that can help with the investigation,” states an Aug. 2 press release from the Wellington County OPP.
“Anyone with any information, no matter how minor, is asked to come forward and help bring resolution to Mohamed’s family.”
