Police beat: ‘Offensive graffiti’

ERIN – Police are looking for help to find the person(s) responsible for graffiti found at a local business.

Wellington County OPP officials say police were called about “offensive graffiti” at “a local business” that occurred overnight on Sept. 10 to 11.

“At this time investigators cannot speculate on a motive,” police stated in a Sept. 17 press release.

The OPP is asking anyone with video surveillance in the area of Wellington Road 124 and Trafalgar Road between 9pm on Sept. 10 and 7am on Sept. 11 to contact police “if they locate anything suspicious.”

Anyone with information can contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers. 

Partner violence

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Local police continue to lay intimate partner violence charges throughout the county.

Individuals recently arrested by the Wellington County OPP include: a Minto man, 43, charged with failure to comply with undertaking, after an incident in Mount Forest on Sept. 9; and a Guelph woman, 43, failure to comply with undertaking and failing to comply with a probation order, on Sept. 10.

The accused are to appear in Guelph court at a later date. Anyone with information can call police.
