GUELPH – A Guelph man is dead after being hit by a vehicle here last week.
Emergency crews were called about a collision at the intersection of the Hanlon Expressway and Woodlawn Road West on Nov. 2 at about 11:30pm.
“Initial reports indicated that a pickup truck and pedestrian had collided, and the pedestrian had suffered serious injuries,” states a Nov. 3 press release from the Wellington County OPP.
A 58-year-old man from Guelph was pronounced dead at scene.
Police say the Office of the Chief Coroner was notified and the investigation is ongoing.
