CLIFFORD – The Clifford and District Horticultural Society host a plant sale each year. Members bring their extra perennials, shrubs, and flowers from their gardens to sell as a fundraiser.
This year, the sale was to be held on May 8, but the cold weather and COVID-19 restrictions have pushed the plant sale to May 21 from noon to 6pm.
The event will be held on main street at Clifford Celebration Square unless restrictions continue and the park is not open for community events. In that event, the sale will be held in the parking lot at president Vic Palmer’s home on James Street East. Watch for signs.
Palmer says, ‘We are encouraging all members to attend and support our fundraiser event on this date. We have quite a variety of plants for sale at very reasonable prices.’
Contact Vic 519-327-8142, to donate plants to the sale and arrange for drop off or pick up.
Anyone with hostas on their planting list, will want to attend the sale, organizers note.
