GUELPH – A single-engine Cessna 172 left Runway 24 at Guelph Airpark after landing long on the night of May 16, resulting in minor damage to the aircraft.
Neither the pilot nor accompanying passenger in the four-seater aircraft were injured.
Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) spokesperson, Chris Krepski, confirmed to the Advertiser that the TSB became aware of the incident at 11 pm Sunday and would be “doing some follow up.”
Krepski said the incident did not warrant further investigation, beyond speaking to witnesses, and no TSB investigators would be visiting the site.
