PALMERSTON – An agriculture-themed parade entertained residents and kicked off the Palmerston Agricultural Society’s 141st fair weekend on the evening of Aug. 26. This year’s theme was “Raising the Steaks.”
Twice delayed by the pandemic, the Palmerston Agricultural Fair took place from Aug. 26 to 28 and offered a bit of something for the entire family at the Palmerston arena grounds over the weekend.
The Minto Fire Department led the way through downtown as residents and parade participants waved at each other.
Along the route, antique vehicles, transport trucks, farm tractors, horses, and children peddling bikes and dressed as farm animals were also seen travelling through Palmerston toward the route’s end at the Palmerston arena.
