Pajama Parties at Wellington County Museum and Archives

ABOYNE – You don’t have to get dressed up to check out the exhibits at the Wellington County Museum and Archives; in fact, you can wear your pajamas.

The museum is hosting two Pajama Parties this summer, inviting people of all ages to get their comfies on and explore the building after hours. 

The events take place July 19 and Aug. 9 from 6 to 9pm, and will include crafts, games, scavenger hunting, popcorn and more.

“We’re so excited to invite the public to explore our historic building after hours,” museum programming supervisor Emily Peters stated in a news release.

Exhibits to check out include:

– Not Just Dirt: Digging into the Science of Soil; 

– Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II – In Memoriam; 

– If These Walls Could Speak (History of the Poor House); 

– The Jewel: Classic Movie Theatre 

– Far from Home: A Soldier’s Life at the Front, 1914-1918; 

– 1920s Kitchen; 

– First Story: The Neutrals in Wellington County; and 

– Log Cabin

Admission is by donation.
