A portion of Brock Road here was closed for several hours earlier this week after a tractor trailer carrying crushed pop cans overturned.
On Dec. 9 at about 2:30am, Wellington County OPP received a call regarding an overturned tractor trailer on Brock Road, north of the 401.
All four lanes of Brock Road were initially blocked.
Officers responded along with Guelph-Wellington Emergency Services (EMS) and the Puslinch Fire and Rescue Services.
The driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The cause of the collision was being investigated and police said charges are pending.
The northbound lanes reopened shortly after the accident but the southbound lanes from Nicholas Beaver to the 401 remained closed over five hours while the tractor trailer was removed.
The Ministry of Transportation was also on the scene to assist.
