ABERFOYLE – Outdoor recreational amenities in Puslinch are now open.
Township officials made the announcement on May 21, in response to the province’s announcement of a gradual lifting of the stay-at-home order.
As of May 22 Puslinch will reopen its sports fields and tennis and basketball courts.
Outdoor playgrounds remain open.
Township officials say no outdoor team sports or recreational classes are permitted. Those activities are included in the first step of the province’s reopening plan, which is estimated to begin on June 14.
“Please continue to practice physical distancing of two metres, consider leaving the amenity if it is crowded, consider wearing a mask and follow the posted signage,” states the Puslinch press release.
“All other COVID-19 restrictions remain in effect until the stay-at-home order expires on June 2, 2021.”
