For the fourth summer, the Wellington County Museum and Archives is hosting four musical evenings on Thursdays in August.
All performances begin at 7pm and admission is by donation.
The series begins Aug. 6 with a nod to the Scottish traditions of the area; McCairley and Maclean will entertain with Celtic tunes on fiddle and guitar. The Royal City Saxophone Quartet will join on Aug. 13, bringing jazz to the series for the first time,
Shannon Kingsbury and Gary Diggins perform on Aug. 21, with harp and guitar, and the series ends on Aug. 27 with the popular local fusionalternative rock group The Boo Radley Project.
Come early and set up a chair. There is something very special about the sound of music being performed out-of-doors. It is a unique opportunity not to be missed.
In the event of inclement weather, the concerts will be held in the 1877 barn, with limited seating capacity. Events are subject to change without notice so please call ahead to confirm.
