Orton celebration – The Orton Community Association celebrated the completion of this year’s Orton Kid’s Ball season on Aug. 14 with a hot dog barbecue and awards presentations. Over 80 children participated in the low cost, non-competitive “learn to play” activity, which has run from mid-June and mid-August for the past 14 years. Organizers thank the Wellington Milk Committee for supplying chocolate milk for the children at the celebration.
