ABERFOYLE – The federal election is looming and the Optimist Club of Puslinch is first out of the gate in announcing an all-candidates night for the redrawn riding of Wellington-Halton Hills North.
The event is on April 22 at 6:30pm at the Puslinch Community Centre.
“The event begins with an informal opportunity to meet the candidates or obtain campaign materials,” Optimist Club officials state.
“This will be followed by short presentations by each candidate from the stage. Once each candidate has spoken the event moderator will facilitate questions to the candidates from the public.”

New boundary
The riding boundary has changed as has the riding name.
The new boundary includes part of south Guelph and removes Georgetown, which is now part of the Milton North-Halton Hills South riding.
Check the Elections Canada’s website to see if the boundary change affects you.
