Police are looking to identify a man who stole lottery tickets from a local variety store last month.
On Dec. 18 Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a theft at the Circle K variety store on St. David Street North in Fergus.
Police say that at 7:10pm a man swiped two scratch lottery tickets behind the teller’s back. The theft was caught on surveillance video (it can be seen on the Advertiser’s Twitter account – @wellyadvertiser – posted on Jan. 25).
