ELORA – Police are releasing very few details about a “non-suspicious” death here this morning.
On April 30 at about 6:10am, emergency crews responded to a 911 call in the area of the David Street West bridge in Elora.
The call to firefighters came in as a “water rescue” in the Elora Gorge beneath the bridge, between South and Smith streets.
“Emergency responders attended David Street near Wellington Road 7 and located a young person in medical distress who was later pronounced deceased at the scene,” Wellington County OPP stated in a press release.
“This is a non-suspicious death investigation and no further information will be released about this incident.”
