MINTO – One person is dead after an early morning crash here on Friday.
Emergency crews responded to a serious collision on Highway 89, east of Harriston, on May 27 at about 6am.
“Initial reports indicated that [an SUV] had been involved in a collision and the lone occupant was seriously injured,” states a Wellington County OPP press release issued just before 5pm, almost 11 hours after the incident.
Police say the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The OPP continues to investigate and is asking anyone that may have witnessed the collision to call 1-888-310-1122.
