Centre Wellington is showcasing its Connect CW concept, on one night, in one location, for all residents to have an opportunity to meet with the staff and project team members on our major township initiatives.
The meeting is Oct. 17 from 6pm to 8pn in the community hall of the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex in Fergus.
“This is a new and exciting concept for staff and our residents” said Mayor Kelly Linton.
“We understand people are busy. We know our residents have a lot going on, so we wanted to make it easy for them to catch up on one evening, with all of the major stakeholders present to answer questions and update us on our key township projects. Our hope is that a resident will stop in to learn about a project that they are passionate about, and realize while they are here, there are some amazing and unique things happening in their community. Getting involved is the first step”.
The open house style will allow residents to learn and inquire about key projects, participate in surveys and gather information on what matters the most to them.
Key projects showcased:
– Centre Wellington Fire Master Plan
– Urban Forestry Policy
– Growth Management Strategy
– 2018 Budget Process
– MacDonald Trust Process
– Parks, Recreation & Culture Master Plan
– Transportation Master Plan
