The 2019 FarmSmart Conference will be held Saturday, Jan. 19, at Rozanski Hall, University of Guelph. 

The featured speakers for the day are John Phipps, Farm Journal on “Good News – We Are Going to Need New Tools” and Dr. Robin White, Virginia Tech on “A World Without Livestock”.  

Customize your day from over 50 concurrent sessions that will appeal to everyone involved in your farming operation. 

Presentations will address current and emerging technology and innovation on a range of topics including crop and livestock production to soil and environmental management, business, marketing.

A full-day event called CropSmart will precede the main FarmSmart conference at the Manulife Financial Sportsplex at RIM Park, 2100 University Ave. East in Waterloo, Ontario on Friday, Jan. 18. 

Ken Ferrie, farm journal field agronomist returns to anchor CropSmart, a comprehensive day focused on corn and soybean production.
