Canada-Ontario Environmental Farm Plan (EFP)
Producers are invited to attend the EFP (Fourth Edition) two-day workshop to learn about best management practices, develop an action plan for their farm and learn about cost-sharing opportunities.
Dates for this workshop are: April 12 (day 1) and 19 (day 2) in Mount Forest; May 9 (day 1) and 16 (day 2) in St. Marys; and June 7 (day 1) and 14 (day 2) in Listowel.
Growing Your Farm Profits (GYFP) – Planning for Business Success
Start the business planning process by attending the two-day interactive workshop. You will assess business management practices, determine priorities and key goals, develop realistic action plans and learn about cost sharing funding opportunities.
Dates are: March 21 (day 1) and 28 or April 4 (day 2) in Arthur; April 3 (day 1) and 10 or 17 (day 2) in Mount Forest; and June 12 (day 1) and 19 or 26 (day 2) in Fergus.
Biosecurity Workshop
At this one day workshop, an experienced veterinarian or certified crop advisor will show you the benefits of having an on-farm biosecurity program and identify key practices which will enhance biosecurity on your farm.
