Officials looking for federal offender known to visit county

Law enforcement officials are looking for help to locate a federal offender known to visit Wellington County.

On May 29, the OPP issued a press release stating the  Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad is trying to locate Dustin Lunz, 24, who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant after breaching parole conditions.

Lunz is described as a Caucasian male, 6’2” (191 cm), 265 pounds (120kgs). He has tattoos on both wrists, his right arm and right calf.  

He is serving a two year-plus sentence for break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime, operating a motor vehicle while disqualified, flight from police and failing to comply with an undertaking/recognizance.  

Police say Lunz is known to frequent the Region of Waterloo, Perth County and Wellington County.
