ZIEGERHOFER, Pamela Ann

ZIEGERHOFER, Pamela Ann. Born in Liverpool England and died with family, at home in the presence of a Doctor and Nurse peacefully as she wished. An accomplished woman, attended the Liverpool School Of Music for cello. She was the Private Secretary to an advanced UK weapons designer at Huntings Engineering. She had DV security clearance which was given to very few individuals by the Government. She was able to name and describe all UK weapons of war. She went on to become Private Secretary for Lord and Lady Tavistock at Woburn Abbey before emigrating to Canada in the 80’s. We found a hand written letter in an envelope with the royal stamp from Lord Tavistock pleading with her to abort her plans to emigrate as she was just the right fit for their family, we had never seen this letter. In Canada, she and her daughters opened and ran two horse barns, Hazelwood Stables with 52 horses, she loved ALL animals. A catastrophic car accident abruptly changed the woman she was and she battled health issues up until her death. She leaves behind daughters, Susan and Jane and their spouses. Grandchildren, Thomas, Peter and Jazlynn. Brother Denis and her Uncle Sid in the Phillipines. Feisty, witty, confident and in charge until the end. Our Mum, until we are all together again.
