passed away surrounded by her family and friends on September 25th, 2020, in her home at the age of 63. Beloved wife of Greg Smith. Loving mother of Malcolm Smith, and soon to be daughter-in law Sophie Reynolds. She had a tough battle with breast cancer for four and half years. Before being diagnosed with breast cancer, Chantal was a Registered Nurse for 35 years. Chantal worked tirelessly to ensure her patients were comfortable and cared for. She finished her career working at Groves Memorial Hospital, where she made a huge impact on not only her patients, but the people she worked with. She was caring, thoughtful, compassionate and in every definition the best mother, wife and nurse anyone could ask for. Some of Chantals favourite hobbies included horses, going to the cottage, fishing and spending time with their black labrador “Remi”.
