Wooddisse, Ronald R.; Marywood Simmentals of RR#1 Palmerston, passed away on September 21, 2010

at his home in his 60th year. Loving husband of Mary Ellen (McFarlane) Wooddisse for 37 years. Proud father of Rhonda Wooddisse and Dele Taylor of Toronto, Trish and Steve Kelly of Fergus, Josh Wooddisse and Tai Von Kongislow of Guelph. Adoring grandfather of Aidan and Maddie Kelly. Brother of David Wooddisse of Drayton, Donna and David Whittaker of Gowanstown, Paul and Jo-Anne Wooddisse of Fergus, Janet Wooddisse of Dundas, Arlene and Claude Heroux of Palmerston, Richard and Janette Wooddisse of Moorefield. Son-in-law of George and Muriel McFarlane of Arthur/Guelph. Brother-in-law of Dr. Bob and Donna McFarlane of Mount Forest, David and Nicole McFarlane of St George and Barb McFarlane of Guelph. Much loved uncle of Ryan, Glendaliz, Nayah, Rory, Nicky, Rob, Zephirin, Nadia, John, Jacob, Adelaide, Jamie, Tara, Tyler, Natalie, Chantal, Chad, Jen, Laura, Matt, Carly, Maggie, Lee, Andrew, Jessica, Jenny, Nathan, Logan, Danielle, Kate, Todd, Melissa, Luke, Ben, Kelsey. Predeceased by his greatest fans and loving parents Keith Wooddisse and Doris Oxby/Wooddisse and his brother-in-law Bill Elliott. Ron had a passion for the agricultural and beef industries that was demonstrated in his career and personal life. His family was very involved with the Simmental breed and travelled to exhibitions across the country. Over the years of being involved in various associations and organizations he made great contributions and many friends along the way. Visitations with the family were held at the Moorefield Community Centre on Thursday, September 23, 2010 and Friday, September 24 , 2010. A Memorial Service was held at the Drayton United Church on Saturday, September 25 at 11am. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston 519-343-3800.
