of Moorefield passed away peacefully at the Palmerston and District Hospital, Palmerston on Sunday September 26, 2021 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of Don Wood for 45 years. Cherished mother of Willy and Janis McKenzie of Kitchener and Kristine and Shane Wanless of Palmerston. Grandmother of Eric McKenzie and his friend Stephanie, Pearce McKenzie and his fiancé Cassie and Nikki McKenzie all of Kitchener and Logan and Duncan Wanless of Palmerston. Sister of Georgia Capewell of Bobcaygen. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. To honour Kathleen’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation or Moorefield Optimist Club would be appreciated by the family.
